How to apply if you are non-european student ?

Each degree has its own admission procedure.

If you are a European citizen or non-European citzen and holder of European high School diploma, you must apply through ParcourSup Platform.

If you are an international students holder of a non-European high school diploma, you may follow the following procedure :

Undergraduate studies

- APPLYING TO 1ST YEAR OF BACHELOR'S DEGREE AT PUBLIC UNIVERSITY.

DAP Procedure - White : Application through Campus France UAE

If you are a UAE resident and you hold a non-European secondary diploma French high school diploma, you should follow the "Demande d'Admission Préalable - DAP" (Preliminary Admission Request) procedure.

To begin with, you will need to download the DAP file -dossier blanc, fill it out digitally and provide the required documents specified in the explanatory notice. Once your file is complete, we will schedule an appointment to review your application and will send it to universities of your choice.

Below is the Timetable of the "Demande d'Admission Préalable - DAP" procedure to join French higher education system for September 2021 intake :

Registrations open on 1st November 2020,
Registrations close on 17th January 2021,
University response and Acceptance letter: before 23rd April 2021,
Student Confirmation: before 7th May 2021,

You will need to pick and choose to respond to only one acceptance letter in case you receive multiple ones from different universities; Moreover, if you do not respond before 17 May 2021, your application will be forfeited.

Admissions for September 2022 intake will be announced in October 2021.

Language qualification :

Please note that students are requested to submit a language certificate (TCF-DAP or DELF B2). Campus France UAE can organise an exam session at the Alliance Francaise of Dubai. Therefore, students must notify us by email in order to pass the exam.

Students who are originally from a francophone country are exempted from this exam.

- APPLYING TO FIRST YEAR OF BACHELOR'S AT A PRIVATE SCHOOL OR TO SECOND OR THIRD YEAR OF BACHELOR'S PROGRAMS AT PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SCHOOLS.

Direct application to the university

After reviewing and researching different universities, you will need to initiate direct contact with the prospective ones for the enrollment process, whether for Bachelor's (2nd or 3rd year). You may also leverage on the Campus France Undergraduate Catalog to find relevant contact information. The universities will in return advise you of their specific enrolment application procedures.

If your application is accepted, you will receive a document confirming your admission. From there on, Campus France and the French Consulate in UAE will be your next stop.

Graduate Studies

- APPLYING TO MASTER'S OR DOCTORATE PROGRAMS AT PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SCHOOLS.

Direct application to the university

After reviewing and researching different universities, you will need to initiate direct contact with the prospective ones for the enrollment process, whether for Master's or Doctorate (PHD) programs. You may also leverage on the Campus France Graduate Catalog and the Research Portal for PHD programs to find relevant contact information. The universities will in return advise you of their specific enrolment application procedures.

If your application is accepted, you will receive a document confirming your admission. From there on, Campus France and the French Consulate in UAE will be your next stop.

Architecture programs

- APPLYNG TO AN ARCHITECTURE SCHOOL FOR BACHELOR'S OR MASTER'S DEGREE.

DAP Procedure - Yellow : Application through Campus France UAE

To begin with, you will need to download the DAP file -dossier jaune, fill it out digitally and provide the required documents. Once your file is complete, we will schedule an appointment to review your application and will send it to universities of your choice.
