You are concerned by EeF platform if you are a resident of the United Arab Emirates and fit into one of the below categories :
-Non-European citizen holder of a non-European high school diploma;
-Non-European citizen holder of bachelor’s/master's degree.
Then, you must follow one of the below admission procedures. Each degree has its own procedure. The procedure might also differ depending on the type of university (public or private). Therefore, you may carefully read the instructions below and choose the procedure that matches your current situation.

- Students preparing the French Baccalauréat or European Baccaluaréat regardless their nationality & European citizens : applications must be submitted on Parcoursup platform.
- Students wishing to apply to PHD Programs.
Please note that tourists are not eligible to apply through Campus France UAE. Therefore, you may reach out to Campus France of your country of origin or your country of residence.

Be sure to have the following documents on hand before you begin your application :
- Emirates ID & passport.
- Resume/CV & cover/motivation letter.
- Personal photo : Scan a profile picture in Jpeg 300 - DPI 26*32 mm. It must be in JPEG or PNG format and the size must not exceed 50KB.
- Last completed degree & the school/college report. For undergraduate studies, this includes academic records, predicted testing results, counselor recommendation, school profile, and mid-year report. For graduate studies, this includes academic records of the bachelor's degrees and the original copy of your diploma.
- French language certificate (if applicable) : if you don't have a French certificate (DELF or TCF) and you are planning to take an exam soon, you can still submit your application on EEF along with the registration certificate for the exam. Once you receive the results, you can send them to us later on and we will upload them in your file.
- Art portfolio (applicable only if you are applying to an art program.)

Good to know :
- If you would like to apply to public universities, you must submit your application exclusively on Etudes En France portal.
- If you would like to apply to private universities, you must submit two applications, one on Etudes En France portal and the second one on the university website. When applying to private universities, EEF portal will provide you with the university link in order to submit another application on the university website. Moreover, when searching for an academic program on EEF portal, make sure to research the name of the university. If you don't find the program in EEF catalog, this means that you must submit your application directly on the private university website.

Applying at a public university
Scenario A. I want to apply to 1st year of bachelor’s degree at a public university (Licence 1).
You must follow DAP DOSSIER BLANC (Preliminary Admission Request) procedure on “Etudes en France – EeF” platform". The DAP application procedure allows students to apply to three public universities.
Deadlines to submit your application: Admissions for September 2024 will start on 01/10/2023 and will end on 15/12/2023.
Language requirements
Students whose home country does not have French as an official language are required to take a French language exam.
Students have the possibility to take one of these three exams : Test de Connaissance du Français Tout Public (TCF TP), DELF B2 and DELF Junior. These exams are organized by the Alliance Française of Dubai, the leading French language center, except for the DELF Junior organized by the Institut Francais, the cultural department of the French Embassy in the UAE. The DELF Junior is designed for students under the age of 18.
French tests fees:
TCF TP : 650 AED - registration must be done on the Alliance Française of Dubai website
DELF B2 : 560 AED - registration must be done on the Alliance Française of Dubai & Abu Dhabi websites

Scenario C. I want to apply to an architecture degree in one of the National Schools of Architecture known as (ENSA’s).
You must follow DAP DOSSIER JAUNE (Preliminary Admission Request) procedure on “Etudes en France – EeF” platform. The DAP DOSSIER JAUNE application procedure allows students to apply to two National Schools of Architecture known as (ENSA’s).
Deadlines to submit your application: Admissions for September 2024 will start on 01/10/2023 and will end on 15/12/2023.

If you are planning to join the first year of a bachelor's degree, you have specific entitlements depending on the type of university. At public universities, you can apply to 3 programs, whereas at architecture universities, you can apply to 2 programs. If you prefer private universities, you have the flexibility to apply to 7 programs.
For those planning to join the second or third year of a bachelor's degree, you have even more options. You can apply to a total of 7 programs at public universities or 7 programs at private universities. Additionally, you have the freedom to mix and match by applying to both public and private universities.

Direct application to the university
After reviewing and researching different universities, you will need to initiate direct contact with the prospective ones for the enrollment process. You may also leverage on the Campus France Graduate Catalog and the Research Portal for PHD programs to find relevant contact information. The universities will in return advise you of their specific enrolment application procedures.
If your application is accepted, you will receive a document confirming your admission. From there on, Campus France “Etudes En France-EEF” will be your next stop.

Admission application involves a fee of 680 AED. After submitting the admission application on the Etudes en France portal, students will receive an email guiding them on how to make the payment via bank transfer. Keep in mind that students must await an email from the EeF portal containing payment instructions before initiating the payment process.

Who is exempt from the French proficiency test?
The following categories of students are exempt from taking the French proficiency test:
- Students wishing to pursue a taught-in-English program.
- Students originating from countries where French is the official language or is used in government administration (such as BELGIUM, BENIN, BURKINA FASO, BURUNDI, CAMEROON, CANADA, CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC, COMOROS, CONGO, IVORY COAST, DJIBOUTI, GABON, GUINEA, EQUATORIAL GUINEA, HAITI, MADAGASCAR, MALI, NIGER, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO, RWANDA, SENEGAL, SEYCHELLES, CHAD, TOGO, VANUATU).
- Students who have completed their higher education in French and have obtained their degree within the last five years.
- Students holders of the DELF B2 diploma.
